Protecting Children and Families

Job Description:

As a Child Protection Caseworker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families. You will respond to reports of safety concerns and work collaboratively with other agencies to provide support and services.

You will work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people, and assist them in formulating goals that align with their needs. You will also develop safety plans and complete risk assessments, manage cases and situations, and be involved in court processes.

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or Welfare, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A valid driver's license and paid working with children clearance number.
