Job Title
We are seeking a skilled leader to oversee our team, which consists of varying amounts of experience. As the team manager, you will be able to identify and utilise the strengths of each team member, fostering their development and growth to deliver exceptional outcomes for our members.
This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of day-to-day operations, ensuring claims are handled efficiently and maintaining quality. You will also ensure that claims are processed in line with policy guidelines, delegated authorities, company procedures, and industry regulations.
As a key member of our Claims Team, your contribution to the success of the team will be invaluable, and your actions will reflect our RACQ values. Your responsibilities will include leading, coaching, and mentoring a Claims Management team to achieve performance indicators and objectives.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of relevant experience across leading a large team, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience within performance management. They will also possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
About the Role
- Lead, coach, and mentor a Claims Management team to achieve performance indicators and objectives.
- Effectively manage staff performance and behaviours to achieve business objectives.
- Promote effective communication between internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Devise, encourage, and implement initiatives and strategies to improve work practices.

- Strong leadership skills, including extensive experience within performance management.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, creating, developing, and maintaining effective relationships.
