Diverse Learner Educator Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled educator to join our team as a Learner Diversity Classroom Teacher. This is a temporary full-time teaching position for the 2025 school year.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, reflecting the skills and qualifications required for the role. As a member of our team, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:
- Higher pay: Our Enterprise Agreement guarantees your pay will be at least 1.5% above the NSW Department of Education;
- More time: We provide collaborative planning time (CPT), in addition to the usual release from face-to-face teaching;
- Staff voice: Our Enterprise Agreement reflects our commitment to having systems in place that give our frontline staff a genuine voice in their work;
- Staff School Fee Discounts: Eligible staff receive a 25% discount on their children's school fees at our schools, pro-rated to their FTE;

This role requires a highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School. You must have teaching experience with appropriate Learner Diversity qualifications. A demonstrated experience with students across a range of disabilities and special needs is desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the school's Continuous Improvement Cycle and commit to student achievement;
- Create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners;
- Analyse and reflect on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
- Manage and facilitate safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices;
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community;
- Use technology to enhance student learning.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must:
- Have a 4-year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four-year trained qualification;
- Meet the requirements of the Working with Children Check.
