About the Centre

Thrive North Gosford (Koolyangarra) boasts a purpose-built centre established in 1991, renowned for its excellent reputation within the local community. Our dedicated team prioritizes meaningful connections with families and strong ties to the community.

About the Role

We seek a highly skilled Room Leader and Educational Leader to join our dynamic team. Both roles will suit experienced educators who can drive programming and inspire a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families, and colleagues.

The Educational Leader will spend time supporting various rooms while allocated a minimum of 8 hours per week of non-contact time for training and mentoring.

To ensure you thrive in your role, you'll be closely collaborating with our Head of Education and Quality as well as all Educational Leaders within Thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting educators in assessing each child's learning and development against the approved learning framework, contemporary theories, and Thrive's curriculum
  • Facilitating critical reflection on each child's learning and development, as well as personal pedagogy, as part of everyday practice
  • Reflecting on educational pedagogy as an integral part of daily activities
  • Maintaining positive working relationships among team members
  • Effective communication with parents
  • Sustaining a strong work ethic with a focus on excellence by striving to be one's best
Requirements
  • Either a Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent, or Diploma qualification in early childhood education
  • NSS Working With Children Check
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation (for ECTs)
  • A solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer and technology abilities

$80,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience.
