Food Safety and Café Operations Manager

Collaborate with a dynamic and professional team at a co-educational Christian day school with approximately 1400 students.

The ideal candidate will support the aims, principles, and tenets of our educational association and possess relevant qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate for 35 hours per week during term time, working Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 2.30pm.
  • Support staff leave from June to September.
Requirements
  • Hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Have high-level knowledge of food safety and HACCP programming.
  • Be experienced in all aspects of café operations, including menu management, stock control, and budgeting.
  • possess effective people management skills, promoting a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and volunteers.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, prioritising tasks within set timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
  • Have prior experience in a school café or similar work environment.

Suitable candidates must satisfy child protection screening requirements and adhere to our College's child protection policies and Staff Code of Conduct.
