We are seeking an experienced Café Attendant to join our hospitality team at the Flinders Street Campus. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality café and food service experiences for students, staff, and guests.

  • Deliver exceptional service to customers across café and food outlets.
  • Ensure food and beverage standards align with industry best practice.
  • Support the delivery of internal and external campus events.
  • Collaborate with the Café Manager to continuously improve service and product.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Represent the university in a professional manner with staff, students, and external partners.

  • Previous experience in food and beverage or café operations is essential.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and a positive experience.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across café service and events.
  • Awareness of workplace health and safety and compliance standards.
  • A proactive attitude with good judgment to escalate issues when required.
