Job Description Overview
  • We nurture our students to excel in education, strive for excellence and develop their character.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • This role operates for 35 hours per week during term time only, Monday to Friday, commencing at 7:00 am and finishing at 2:30 pm.
  • Suitably qualified and experienced applicants are encouraged to apply for this temporary part-time position.
Key Selection Criteria
  • You must be supportive of our aims, principles and tenets.
  • A Food Safety Supervisor (Level 2) Certificate is required.
  • High level of practical knowledge of food safety and the HACCP programme is essential.
  • Experience in all aspects of cafe operations including menus, food nutrition, quality and value, stock control, stock take and ordering is necessary.
  • You should have the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Well-developed people management skills with the ability to promote a safe environment for staff, students and volunteers are required.
  • Sound organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within a required timeframe, are necessary.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to provide high-level customer service to all levels of our community in a busy work environment is required.
  • Sound computer skills are necessary.
  • A Current First Aid (HLTAID004) Certificate is required.
  • A Current and valid WA Driving Licence is required.
