About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team at Infosys Consulting in Singapore and Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data storage solutions, automated data pipelines, and ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cloud-based data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database and other cloud platforms.
  • Work with data across multiple cloud sources, including Azure and AWS, and Observability tools like New Relic.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and optimize data storage systems for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide advisory on data modeling, management, engineering, and cloud infrastructure to support junior team members and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hands-on experience with designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in AWS Services, including AWS DynamoDB, AWS Glue, AWS IAM, AWS Lambda, ECS, AWS Step Function, AWS Batch, and AWS S3 Bucket.
  • Experience with Azure Services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Working experience in database development, data engineering (ETL in Cloud), and experience with handling JSON, CSV files, and other data formats.
  • Understanding of information/data management, data structures, data storage, and data modeling techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages, including Python and Object-Oriented Design, PowerShell, Bash Scripting, and SQL.
  • Extensive experience in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
