About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our APJ Public Sector team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in helping our AWS Partners accelerate their customers' cloud migration and adoption journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how of best practices for constructing applications and services using AWS.
  • Help develop the technical capabilities of partners to enable them to build and sell cloud-based solutions to Public Sector customers.
  • Work with AWS Partners to ensure joint customer and partner success, requiring influence and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Represent AWS within a partner's environment and drive discussions with IT leaders and senior executives.
  • Provide technical and architectural guidance to partners, creating whitepapers, conducting presentations, demos, and hands-on technical workshops.
  • Assess technical feasibility by building hands-on proof of concepts and identifying dependencies, caveats, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business, development, infrastructure, security, operations, and other teams to ensure successful outcomes and influence future iterations of the AWS platform.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
