Email Security Specialist Role

Job Description:

We are seeking Email Security Experts to join our cybersecurity team on a huge enterprise email security deployment project.

The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and optimising our organisation's email security infrastructure whilst ensuring the highest level of protection against emerging email-based threats.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement enterprise email security solutions including Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal Security.
  • Work closely with IT and security teams to develop and maintain robust email security protocols that protect our organisation from phishing attempts, malware, and other email-based threats.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures related to email security.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully migrating and managing enterprise email security platforms, with particular expertise in Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal Security solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (formerly ATP), including experience with its configuration, policy management, and threat investigation capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
