This is an exciting opportunity for a mental health clinician to join a dynamic team as part of a pioneering initiative in the Ryde Community Mental Health Service. The successful candidate will be involved in a 7-day rotating roster, including extended hours, providing mobile, recovery-oriented clinical advice, consultancy, and support to emergency services.


The role involves managing mental health-related cases in the community, providing triage, primary client assessment, and complex mental health emergency management at an advanced level.


The successful candidate will provide timely and effective mental health triage, risk assessment, and intervention alongside emergency services. They will facilitate diversion from emergency departments and inpatient care when possible and support individuals in crisis with a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed approach.


The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. They will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
