Exercise Physiologist Role

We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated Exercise Physiologist to provide exercise services to participants at our clinics and mobile services in various regions.

About the Role

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will conduct initial assessments and deliver tailored exercise prescriptions in the clinical and mobile home-visit setting. You will also provide education, lifestyle modification and behaviour change programs for participants, staff and support workers as required.

Excellent independent skills and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, along with excellent organisation and time management skills. You must be able to communicate effectively and work efficiently and collaboratively with the team to ensure optimal outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and deliver tailored exercise prescriptions
  • Provide education and lifestyle modification programs
  • Communicate and work efficiently with the team

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • One to five years of experience working with NDIS participants or children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team

Required Certificates:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Bachelor or Master of Exercise Physiology (University Degree)
  • ESSA Accreditation
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
