Exercise Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with individuals with developmental delays and disabilities, providing therapy and support as part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

  • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or a related field, along with current registration with ESSA, AHPRA, SPA, AASW, or relevant teaching registration.
  • Prior experience working with developmental delays and disabilities is essential.

Key Requirements:

  • ABN and own insurance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
  • Police check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Completed COVID-19 vaccinations
  • NDIS modules completed (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or a completed/ongoing degree in Medicine, Allied Health field
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Disability Support Worker or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Mental Health, Community Services, or Disability Services, or extensive related industry experience
  • Understanding of the NDIS, NDIS plans, and related legislation
  • Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards code of conduct and service standards
  • Solid understanding of the NDIS support coordination role and responsibilities
