Associate Workers Compensation Consultant Role

This is an entry-level position in the workers compensation consulting and injury management profession.

You will provide professional operational support to colleagues and clients through administration of injury management software, insurer liaison, back-office injury management accountabilities, and administrative tasks.

The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including:

  • Triaging and lodging new claims
  • Inbox management
  • Systems management
  • Document and filing management
  • Record management
  • Data entry

Additionally, you will perform general administrative tasks such as vendor management, project management, allocation of work and projects, expense management, travel bookings, and document preparation.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Administering preferred injury management software for selected clients and maintaining the database
  • Insurer liaison with respect to injury management activities
  • Intermediate Microsoft Suite skills
  • Producing and formatting reports, manuals, presentations, and correspondence
  • Generating invoices and organizing and maintaining file systems
  • Maintaining database and spreadsheet files

Requirements

  • High School Certificate or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualifications in administration or related studies
  • Undertake Company-directed compliance training
  • Experience working in an office-type environment with Microsoft Office-based platforms
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident and considered decision maker
