Job Title:

Facilities Management Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Facilities Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day functionality, safety, and readiness across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage facility maintenance, including planned and reactive maintenance, vendor relationships, and seamless day-to-day operations
  • Configure and adapt spaces to meet evolving production needs
  • Monitor and optimize EMS, BMS, and related building systems to reduce downtime and maximize efficiency
  • Lead sustainability initiatives by implementing practical, energy-efficient solutions
  • Maintain high standards of WHS and regulatory compliance
  • Manage vendor contracts and service delivery while tracking performance and spend
  • Develop and maintain emergency response procedures
  • Lead and support a facilities team to maintain excellence in operations
  • Drive innovation and proactive problem-solving in all areas of facilities management
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • At least 5 years' experience in facilities or asset management
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset and hands-on technical capability
  • WHS certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Forklift, Telehandler, EWP/Boom lifts, IPAF (ideally holding or willing to work towards)
  • Experience in screen, event, or entertainment infrastructure a definite plus
