We are seeking a seasoned professional to support our strategic building projects. This full-time position will be based at our central office and will report to the Property Director.
The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely contract administration, compliance with commercial requirements, and effective monitoring, reporting, and forecasting of project performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Preparation: Prepare and manage construction contracts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects.
- Progress Claims Review: Review progress claims from subcontractors and issue payment certificates in accordance with contractual terms.
- Variations and Extensions: Draft and prepare variations, delay notices, and extensions of time in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Cost Management: Oversee job costing, cost reporting, and procurement processes to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Record Keeping: Input and maintain records in the Medius Software System, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Document Control: Maintain document control and compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying, or 10+ years of industry experience.
- Proven experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Construction Induction (White Card).
- Current Driver's Licence (with willingness to travel to regional locations as required).
- National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
