Civcon Civil & Project Management is a Western Australian Civil Construction and Project Management Company seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. Wepride ourselves in providing outstanding service to our clients and understanding their needs, managing and delivering projects to quality standards.

You will be responsible for all aspects for the effective management of contracts from procurement to close-out, providing support for the Project Managers, Construction Manager and Commercial Manager with commercials and procurement during the project execution phase, collating project cost and financial data to develop monthly project valuations and cost reports.

Working across various project sites with the project teams, you need to be a proactive individual with outstanding attention to detail. You must also be able to demonstrate your experience in:

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting and negotiating of subcontracts, variations and claims through to closeout

Participating in the review and assisting with the negotiation and execution of variations and claims to client contracts and subcontracts

Contract administration to support execution, including correspondence and contract notices and claims assessment

High level written skills with excellent attention to detail

Project cost reporting and forecasting

Manage and build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships

Knowledge and implementation of contracts

Provide assistance and guidance to junior Contract Administrators

About You:

Demonstrated experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator in the civil construction industry

Strong understanding and experience in a range of complex contracts ideally on projects more than $30m

A highly analytical approach and strong attention to detail

Strong understanding of all construction contracts including management of claims

Ability to develop positive Alliance, Client and Subcontractor relationships
