Job Title: Collections Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Collections Development Specialist to join our team. As part of our proactive Commissioned Collecting stream, you will work on collecting contemporary Australian life through oral histories, photography, and web archiving.

  • You will project manage oral history and photographic commissioning projects, including cross-format section projects.
  • You will lead staff in selecting websites for inclusion in the Australian Web Archive.
  • You will develop relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • You will promote the Library's commissioned collections.
  • You will manage and drive a team to deliver on the National Library's Collecting Strategy.
