Student Mental Health and Well-being Specialist

Trinity College is seeking a skilled Student Mental Health and Well-being Specialist to join its dynamic educational community.

This role plays a vital part in promoting students' mental health and well-being, providing evidence-based psychological services to students across Kindergarten to Year 12.

The ideal candidate will have full registration as a Psychologist with the relevant national regulatory authority, experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting, and strong knowledge of child development, mental health challenges, and learning difficulties.

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing strategies for students with learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges, collaborating with teaching staff, and delivering workshops or presentations on mental health and resilience.

  • Provide psychological services to K-12 students.
  • Conduct assessments and develop strategies for students with learning and emotional challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers to support student learning and well-being plans.
  • Deliver workshops on mental health and resilience.
