**Promoting Student Well-being and Mental Health**
The role of a Registered Psychologist at our school is to support students' mental health and well-being. This involves providing individual counselling, group sessions, psychoeducational assessments, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based psychological services to K-12 students.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop strategies for students with learning, behavioural, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support student learning and well-being plans.
- Design and deliver workshops or presentations for students, parents, and staff on mental health and resilience.
- Provide crisis intervention when needed.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Full registration as a Psychologist with the relevant national regulatory authority.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development, mental health challenges, and learning difficulties.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations as required.
