Export Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Export Operations Specialist to join our team.

  • Develop and implement export strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage export logistics, including freight forwarding and customs clearance
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless export operations
  • Monitor and analyze export performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of export regulations and procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

About the Role

As an Export Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Issuing quotations for export movements
  • Receiving export freight bookings and completing data entry
  • Sourcing and negotiating rates, coordinating booking with shipping lines, and processing documentation
  • Liaising with customs and other parties to complete export EDN's, CRN's & PRA's
  • Coordinating cargo collection, liaising with warehouse staff, and ensuring freight is checked in
  • Providing regular updates on arrival details and status reports
  • Invoicing shipments correctly and completing profit & loss statements
  • Maintaining effective relationships with customers and meeting their needs

You will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized with attention to detail, and have a passion for delivering quality and personalized service.
