We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Underwriting team. As an Underwriting Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of underwriting processes and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate outstanding requirements through outbound calls and engage with applicants to collect information via tele-interviews.
  • Provide pre-assessment and reinsurance referral support, as well as pathology, medical, and PMAR management and monitoring.
  • Manage internal and external inboxes, import underwriting documents into workflow systems, and delegate emails as required.
  • Respond to enquiries and keep stakeholders informed of progress and status.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of underwriting processes (desired)
  • Experience working with advisers, brokers, super funds, and support staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent PC skills.
