About the Role

The Senior Transition Manager will be responsible for overseeing the transition of our data lake/warehouse.

  • Managing dependencies and aligning stakeholders to ensure the transition meets commercial, technical and business requirements.
  • Ensuring the transition does not disrupt business-as-usual teams.

This role requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engaging with transition teams to align on approach, dependencies, milestones, risks and issues impacting the transition.
  2. Obtaining validation of the Business Case based on a Best, Worst, Most Likely scenario construct.
  3. Operating within the requirements specified by the organisation's operating model.
  4. Ensuring all project component delivery/operational/regulatory/reputation risk impacts are maintained within acceptable parameters.
  5. Ensuring Architectural alignment with the organisation's Business & Technology requirements.
  6. Leading the transition of our data analytics capabilities.
  7. Coordinating technical and business readiness activities, including operational cutover and readiness.
  8. Ensuring post-migration stabilisation, tracking transition and operational performance and supporting incident resolution during the initial transition.
  9. Implementing governance and documentation frameworks to track test cases, results, and issues.
