About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team, focusing on Offtakes Origination. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and executing commercial opportunities to secure renewable energy for our retail business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Monitor renewable energy markets to identify growth opportunities that align with our strategy.
  • Data, Analytics & Reporting: Develop commercial models, provide analytical insights, and deliver detailed reports on project progress and agreements to support informed decision-making and internal strategic goals.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Lead and support PPA/CPA negotiations for renewable energy agreements, ensuring strategic objectives are met.
  • Contract Management: Manage existing contracts, track project timelines, and ensure compliance with obligations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships across the energy sector to support commercial success.
  • Reporting: Deliver detailed reports on project progress and agreements to support internal strategic goals.
About You

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:

  • Understanding of the National Energy Market and experience in commercial negotiations and the execution of Offtake Agreements.
  • Familiarity with energy market fundamentals, especially renewable energy products such as Hydro, Solar, Wind, and Batteries.
  • Proven track record in identifying and developing commercial opportunities in the energy market.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Experience in designing, negotiating, executing, and monitoring contractual obligations.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and collaboration and consultation skills.
  • Extensive numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A Bachelor degree in Legal, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
