The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Aboriginal Financial Capability Worker to join our team as a Financial Capability Support Specialist.

Your key responsibility will be to provide financial literacy education and one-on-one budgeting support to eligible individuals, with a focus on building longer-term capability to manage their finances effectively.

You will also work closely with community members to build strong relationships and provide tailored support to meet their individual needs.

  • Familiarity with local Aboriginal communities and culture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting vulnerable populations
  • A national police record check and Working With Children Check are required

This role is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only, as TSA considers being Aboriginal or a Torres Strait Islander a genuine occupational requirement for the position.
