Job Overview

The Lifestyle Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall well-being of residents across various care settings. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering engaging activities and promoting participation and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop tailored lifestyle programs based on resident needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Lead and participate in delivering high-quality activities that foster social connections and emotional well-being.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to ensure accurate documentation of resident needs and progress.
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in leisure and lifestyle programming, with a strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, including dementia care.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and experience using care management systems (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
