Aged Care Lifestyle Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aged Care Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. This full-time position will involve developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating lifestyle programs for all residents, as well as leading and guiding a team of Lifestyle Assistants.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lifestyle programs: Collaborate with clinical staff to incorporate therapeutic, holistic, and resident-centric activities into daily routines.
  • Lead and guide a team: Manage and motivate a team of Lifestyle Assistants to achieve required outcomes.
  • Coordinate activities: Organize internal and external activities to cater for all aspects of our residents' home environment, including social, religious, and cultural requirements.
  • Support resident care assessments: Provide input during resident care assessments to enable individualized development of programs for optimal resident lifestyle outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience: In a similar role, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and have a balanced, diplomatic, and compassionate approach to sensitive and emotional situations.
  • Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle/Health: Or a similar qualification, with strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills.
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance: Able to apply via the relevant process.
