Senior Project Lead Job Description

This highly respected architecture and design studio is seeking a Senior Project Lead who can take full ownership of the design and delivery process, to join their growing team.

Job Role

The successful candidate will lead the full lifecycle of architectural projects from briefing and concept design through to delivery and construction. They will coordinate and manage internal teams, consultants and client expectations, championing design quality while maintaining timelines, budgets and compliance.

  • Lead project development from inception to completion.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to studio culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Take ownership of project reporting, risk management and performance tracking.

Candidates for this position should have 8+ years post graduate experience, with at least 5 years leading design projects, be hands-on and passionate about front end design, and confident to voice their ideas and opinions in a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Experience across concept design, design development, documentation and design phases.
  • Strong Revit capability and experience working in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results-driven outcomes.
  • Strong organisational, time management and client-facing skills.
  • Based in Perth, with strong local knowledge and networks.
