Early Childhood Education Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team at Early Learning Placements. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our 60-place centre in Cromer, catering to children from 0-6 years old.
Our centre utilises a proven 'Play' based curriculum, focusing on creativity and nature. We have three defined learning spaces, allowing children to transition through each age-appropriate area, culminating in a school readiness program. Our educators build strong relationships with each child, creating continuity and trust as they progress through their journey.
We maintain an 'Exceeding' rating under the National Quality Framework, achieved through reflection on our daily practice and continual improvement planning. Our outdoor space is richly resourced, providing open-ended and natural materials for children to explore.
Main Responsibilities:
As a responsible person/room leader, the successful candidate will ensure children's wellbeing, learning needs, and interests are addressed through high-quality education. Key duties include:
- Meet and greet families, children, and visitors
- Rostering, administration, and enrolments
- Manage incoming/outgoing phone enquiries
- Assist with conducting tours and interviews
- Manage family accounts and compliance documents
- Assist on the floor when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (NEW Grads ECT or WT ECT accepted)
- Current Child Protection, First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role in a childcare centre
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate early childhood programs
- Sound understanding of National Education and Care Services Regulation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working with Children Check number
