About This Role

This leadership opportunity offers a unique chance to shape the educational landscape in New South Wales. As an Executive General Manager, you will oversee the strategic direction and development of teaching, learning, and innovation across our network of schools.

Our 6,500-strong team is committed to delivering exceptional education experiences to over 43,000 students. With your vision and expertise, you will drive system-wide improvement by fostering a culture of collaboration, high expectations, and continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative learning strategies that embed Catholic identity and social teachings throughout our educational programs.
  • Drive pedagogical excellence by developing and delivering engaging curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Equip teachers with cutting-edge resources, technologies, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and student engagement.
  • Establish data-driven standards for success across all schools, focusing on holistic student achievement and teacher development.
  • Broaden pathways and opportunities for students through strategic partnerships and frameworks.
  • Lead the implementation of educational technology to enrich teaching and learning environments.
  • Ensure effective budget management, governance, and sustainable growth within our organization.
  • Mentor and develop leaders within the Learning Outcomes team, promoting a culture of collaboration, high expectations, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • A seasoned senior leader with a proven track record of leading complex educational systems and managing transformational change.
  • A relational, strategic, and emotionally intelligent leader who builds trust and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep knowledge of contemporary pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, and educational technology.
  • An outstanding communicator able to inspire and engage staff, students, families, and the wider community.
  • A committed Catholic actively engaged in parish life and supportive of the mission of Catholic education.
  • NESA-accredited (or eligible) with post-graduate qualifications in education or leadership.
