Job Title: Senior Lived Experience Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Lived Experience Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide hope for recovery and peer support to consumers accessing our service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal support and social eating outings.
  • Lead group sessions from your own lived experience and co-facilitate other groups as appropriate.
  • Provide one-to-one peer support sessions either face to face or via phone/telehealth.
Requirements
  • Lived experience of an eating disorder.
  • Sustained recovery from an eating disorder for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Lived or living experience role (or equivalent type of role such as a mentor or advocate).
  • Completion of (or willingness to undertake) Intentional Peer Support (IPS) Training.
