">About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate care professional to join our team as a Residential Care Officer.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support services, ensuring individualised support services are delivered with compassion, integrity, and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure individualised support services are delivered with compassion, integrity, and dignity.
  • Work with clients from diverse backgrounds to understand their unique needs and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and report writing on client progress.
  • Provide feedback to facility managers and contribute to staff training.
  • Organise transportation for elderly clients as needed.
  • Assess and manage complex behaviours and mental illnesses.
  • Refer clients to additional support agencies when necessary.
  • Foster community engagement and cultural participation among older people.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in community services (e.g., Certificate IV in Ageing Support).
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification.
  • Outstanding communication skills and empathy.
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred supports.
