Job Opportunity: Hydrotesting Technician

Our team is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious professional to play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of critical infrastructure.

This exciting opportunity involves performing hydrostatic tests on pipelines, vessels, and related equipment to verify they meet industry standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Equipment Setup and Operation
  • Set up and operate testing equipment, including pumps, pressure gauges, and monitoring systems, to ensure accurate results.
  • Conduct pre-test inspections and prepare equipment for testing, ensuring proper sealing and connections.
  • Monitor and record test parameters, such as pressure, temperature, and duration, to verify accurate results.
  • Troubleshooting and Collaboration
  • Identify and troubleshoot potential issues during testing, working closely with the team to implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to plan and execute hydrotesting activities, adhering to project timelines.
  • Documentation and Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and detailed test records, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A trade qualification and 3 years' experience in Hydrotesting and Flange Management are required.
  • Previous experience in hydrotesting, pressure testing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Essential Skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate testing equipment effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to hydrotesting activities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret and record precise data.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
