Job Summary

This role involves providing expert guidance to Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and SaaS platform customers. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results and making a meaningful impact in the cloud computing space.

A day in the life of our solutions architects includes helping customers define scalable, resilient, and secure architectures using the latest technologies provided by AWS and our partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern technology, AI, and cloud-based solutions, and provide advice on strategies for modernising and optimising existing workloads and deploying new innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers to accelerate their products and initiatives, recommending best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.
  • Drive technical solutions discussions with customers, diving deep into details to solve complex technical challenges and craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
  • Scope and own each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
  • Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams, including solutions architects, technical account managers, and consulting/managed services partners.
  • Act as a thought leader in the wider community, educating and sharing best practices through events, white papers, blogs, and workshops.
  • Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform.
  • Serve as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team, influencing decision makers across multiple domains to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform aligned to long-term business goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
