Job Description

The role of Senior Data Engineer involves leading the development and maintenance of our data platform, ensuring seamless integration of product and operational data. This position plays a pivotal part in scaling our data infrastructure, directly impacting how we measure patient engagement, clinic success, and platform growth.

Responsibilities
  • Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines to ensure reliable data ingestion into our data platform.
  • Canonical Dataset Management: Develop and maintain high-quality datasets that enable business teams to track key metrics such as patient engagement, clinic growth, and platform usage.
  • Collaborative Work: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Growth, and Finance teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • System Implementation: Implement fault-tolerant systems for data ingestion, transformation, and monitoring to ensure optimal performance.
  • Architectural Decision Making: Participate in architectural decisions shaping the evolution of our data platform.
  • Security Compliance: Uphold strong standards for data security, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering with a focus on data.
  • Strong skills in SQL and data modeling, including proficiency in tools like dbt.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including Product, Growth, and Engineering.
