About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Platform Expert to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our data platform infrastructure.

You will provide technical strategy and solutions to enhance our data engineering capabilities, ensuring high availability, performance and security of our data environments.

Key responsibilities include managing platform integrations, optimising infrastructure as code (IaC), developing reusable data engineering components and CI/CD pipelines.

You will also play a key role in ongoing support for critical platform services, including Databricks, Kafka and TimescaleDB, and manage integrations with Confluent Kafka and SAP HANA.

A key part of this role is collaborating with product teams to review and guide code changes, ensuring alignment with best practices and architectural standards.

This position combines operational responsibilities with a focus on innovation, supporting digital transformation by enabling robust data engineering solutions to drive insight and decision-making capabilities across the organisation.
