We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our team at the Children's Cancer Institute. As a key member of our research team, you will contribute to our mission to find a cure for childhood cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in cancer treatment, molecular biology, and nano-delivery systems
- Work on the NHMRC ideas grant
- Develop and implement new research methods and techniques
- Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to achieve research goals
- Present research findings at conferences and workshops
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g. molecular biology, cancer treatment)
- Experience in gene editing, NGS technology, and medical nanotechnologies
- Strong knowledge of tumour metabolism and cancer-related metabolic criticalities
- Ability to work with cell lines and patients' derived cells
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
