
Sales Engineer for Automation Solutions

We are seeking a skilled professional to leverage existing customer relationships and drive new business opportunities in automation for mobile and fixed plant applications.
- This role involves developing and executing strategies to grow revenue in automation, working closely with existing customers to capitalize on established relationships, and identifying new business opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will focus primarily on mining clients to help improve their operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions.
- Responsibilities include engaging with clients in defence, agriculture, power generation, and industrial manufacturing sectors, collaborating with sales, engineering, and service team members to win full turnkey projects, ongoing service work, and component supply opportunities.
- The successful candidate will prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients, maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in automation.
- This role requires providing technical support and expertise to customers throughout the sales process, achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development within the automation industry.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and lubrication systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel across Australia as required.
