Barista Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a key member of our café, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing high-quality coffee experiences.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote coffee consumption by educating customers on different brewing methods and techniques
  • Welcome customers by determining their coffee preferences and needs
  • Sell coffees and equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and preparation machines
  • Prepare and serve coffee drinks by following recipes and techniques for espresso, macchiato, latte, flat white, and cappuccino
  • Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply
  • Keep equipment operating by following instructions
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of recent experience as a professional barista
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Food Health & Safety
