Job Title:

Hospitality Service Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a Hospitality Service Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our hospitality function, ensuring that our residents receive a high-quality service.

You will work closely with our dedicated team to provide catering, cleaning and laundry services, using your excellent food services and cleaning skills to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

  • Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
  • Complete required documentation and reporting
  • Respond to residents' queries and requests
  • Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen
  • Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks, clear dining areas and dishwashing
  • Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas

What We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
  • An understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised
