About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Xero's Global Strategy & Operations team as a Strategy Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives across the business, working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and other senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the ongoing definition and evolution of Xero's corporate long-term strategy, evaluating the changing landscape and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Develop rigorous, fact-based analyses and collaborate with internal stakeholders to structure and solve business problems.
  • Develop market intelligence by identifying trends and anticipating shifts that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Communicate recommendations in a clear, concise, and impactful way.
Requirements
  • Strategic toolkit: Proven ability to lead and contribute to all aspects of strategy formulation and execution through structured problem solving.
  • Analytical skills: Strong capability in handling qualitative and quantitative analyses, including building large data models and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Stakeholder management: Deep understanding of complex stakeholder groups and how to collaborate across various levels and functions.
  • Project management: Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of insightful recommendations.
  • Industry knowledge: 3+ years of experience in strategy roles, ideally from a consulting background, with a Master's degree or equivalent. Understanding of SaaS, fintech, or similar industries is preferred.
