Senior Municipal Water and Wastewater Systems Expert

As a seasoned Water and Wastewater Engineer, you will lead and contribute to various projects spanning municipal water and wastewater engineering. Our team delivers innovative infrastructure solutions for our colleagues, clients, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently performs complex engineering tasks related to water supply, wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations, sanitary sewer design, and water distribution systems using professional judgment and technical expertise.
Supports or serves as Project Manager on various municipal water and wastewater projects, including assigning tasks, managing schedules, and mentoring junior staff.
Leads and conducts technical reviews (formal and informal QA/QC) of engineering deliverables such as construction drawings, technical specifications, and hydraulic modeling reports. Makes design decisions that align with project goals and regulatory requirements for drinking water systems and wastewater infrastructure. Proactively identifies and resolves technical, scheduling, or budget-related issues in coordination with clients and the project team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in one or more states where we operate or ability to obtain within 6 months. A minimum of 10 years of experience in water and wastewater system design, including pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations, and related utility infrastructure. Demonstrated ability to develop construction documents, manage technical tasks, and support or lead projects through all phases—from planning and permitting to construction administration. Proficiency in engineering software, modeling tools, and technical equipment used in municipal water/wastewater engineering. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience writing technical reports, regulatory submittals, and proposals. Valid driver's license and ability to travel for project-related site visits and client meetings.
