Job Title

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead and contribute to municipal water and wastewater engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in water supply, wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations, sanitary sewer design, and water distribution systems.

This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work independently.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in one or more states where we operate or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in water and wastewater system design, including pipelines, treatment plants, pump stations, and related utility infrastructure.

About the Role

This position involves leading and conducting technical reviews of engineering deliverables, making design decisions, and resolving technical issues.

  • Independently performs engineering tasks related to water supply, wastewater treatment, pump/lift stations, sanitary sewer design, and water distribution systems.
  • Supports or serves as Project Manager on various municipal water and wastewater projects.
  • Makes design decisions that align with project goals and regulatory requirements for drinking water systems and wastewater infrastructure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in engineering software, modeling tools, and technical equipment used in municipal water/wastewater engineering.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience writing technical reports, regulatory submittals, and proposals.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel for project-related site visits and client meetings.
