Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Legal Administrator to support our team in ensuring we meet our legal obligations with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Legal Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for subpoenas, coordinating with centres, law firms, courts, and government departments to provide accurate and timely responses. You will ensure all legal documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, working closely with our legal team to resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws degree in Australia, with at least 2 years of study successfully completed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Previous experience in a service industry demonstrating professionalism, customer focus, and attention to detail
- Highly regarded: prior experience in a law firm, government legal office, or not-for-profit legal setting
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Ability to conduct legal research and prepare accurate documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with legal and administrative systems
- A proactive team player with integrity, initiative, and a commitment to continuous learning
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
