Job Title: Senior Legal Expert

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled lawyer to join our team as a Senior Legal Expert. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services and mentoring junior lawyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional legal advice and support to the organization.
  • Mentor and develop junior lawyers, providing guidance and coaching to help them achieve their full potential.
Required Qualifications
  • Admitted as a Solicitor or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
  • Holder of a current practicing certificate issued by the Queensland Law Society or Queensland Bar Association.
  • Fully compliant with all CPD requirements of the Queensland Law Society or Queensland Bar Association.
Mandatory Skills
  • Demonstrated high-level litigation experience, preferably related to government and administrative law.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop lawyers, mentor other legal practitioners, and appear as an advocate on behalf of the organization.
  • High level interpersonal skills including written and oral communications, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
