Senior Operations Manager

Job Description:

This role is a leadership opportunity to oversee the daily operations of our Mulgrave Transport and Yard Team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of your team and customers, managing day-to-day operations, and leading a team of direct reports.

You will work closely with the Hub Manager to achieve operational excellence and provide exceptional customer service. Your success will be measured by your ability to manage costs, lead your team, and deliver outstanding results.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of 10-13 direct reports
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our Mulgrave Transport and Yard Team
  • Oversight of complete cost control for the transport side of our Mulgrave Branch
  • Ensure the safety of your team and customers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Leadership experience in a similar role
  • Customer Service and Administration management experience
  • Logistics or Transport Management experience is essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen
