Job Title: Technical Solutions Specialist

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to work closely with internal teams, distributors, and customers to provide expert technical support and guidance.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply, and strong presentation and training skills. They will also possess in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver practical and technical training sessions for new and existing customers, distributors, and staff.
  • Ensure that all information and training content is technically accurate and up-to-date.
  • Design, detail, and build prototypes for testing and demonstration purposes.
  • Roll out new products and system upgrades.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, distributors, and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Document and track customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions.
  • Support sales teams with technical expertise and consultative selling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Vocational education in carpentry, joinery, or construction.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in construction.
  • Practical experience in the construction industry and knowledge of building codes (Australia/NZ) preferred.
