Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist to support individuals with injuries return to work. This role involves building relationships with employers and organisations to generate suitable vacancies for clients.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and spoken English, strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. They will also have a professional network within their local area and an unrestricted driver's licence.

  • Mandatory: Minimum 12 months experience in a Workplace Rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Honesty, integrity, team attitude, and positive approach.

As a Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilising recruitment and career development skills to support clients with injuries return to work.
  • Building relationships with employers and organisations to generate suitable vacancies for clients.
  • Engaging in the local community to identify employment opportunities.
  • Marketing subsidised programs to incentivise employers to consider clients for employment.
  • Meeting face-to-face with clients to build their confidence and independence in job-seeking skills.
  • Liaising with and influencing hiring managers on behalf of clients.
  • Assisting clients with addressing key selection criteria.
  • Preparing clients for interviews.
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team to help clients find gainful and durable employment.
