About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storeperson to join our team at Cimic's flagship WA project, Iron Bridge. Reporting to the Planning and Warehouse Supervisor, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality solutions and results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Management: Manage, influence, and empower the team to ensure the warehouse is appropriately stocked and organized.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop team members by setting clear expectations and providing guidance.
  • Customer Service: Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service to internal stakeholders.
  • Logistics Coordination: Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Inventory Optimization: Maintain the stores efficiently and ensure the inventory is optimized, so that parts and equipment for mobile fleet and fixed plant are available to meet organizational and maintenance targets.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience within a Senior Storeperson/Warehouse Supervisor role is essential.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of warehousing and logistics within a mine site environment.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to handle stakeholder complaints and solving business problems.
  • Software Proficiency: JDE software experience and proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Licenses: Forklift High Risk license.
