Job Title: Senior Design & Draftsperson

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design & Draftsperson to join our creative team at The Creative Store. As a key member of our design team, you will play a pivotal role in the conceptualization and design of activation builds, ensuring exceptional service and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret client and internal design briefs, translating them into build design concepts that align with client objectives and agency build practices.
  • Develop technical drawings, material & finishes boards, to communicate construction build concepts effectively.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure seamless execution of all builds.
  • Set up assembly drawings and floor plans for installation.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and debriefs to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our activation experiences.
Requirements:
  • Degree level qualification in drafting or equivalent.
  • 3 + years of design experience.
  • Skilled in using design software 2D and 3D (AutoCad and Sketchup preferably).
  • CNC programming with AlphaCAM an advantage.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop and illustrator).
  • Google G Suite user experience.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing relevant project experience.
  • A passion for product development and design.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to learn quickly and show a willingness to be hands on.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and woodworking principles.
  • An eye for detail, quality control, and cost efficiency.
  • Well organised and proficient in time management.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to enable development of good working relationships with the team and clients.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as work autonomously with minimal supervision.

This is a fast-paced, highly dynamic position that will suit a very organized and driven individual with a passion and excitement for set building and brand activations.
